Overview

Dr. Zhang Zhang received the PhD degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002 and 2009, respectively. From 2009 to 2010, he was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In September 2010, Dr. Zhang joined the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR) where he is currently an Associate Professor. His current research focuses on pattern recognition, intelligent visual surveillance, human action and activity recognition. He is an editoral committee member of Journal of Graphics, a technical committee member of the CCF TC on Computer Vision, a technical committee member of the CSIG TC on Machine Vision and a technical committee member of the CSIG TC on Video Surveillance and Security.
