On April 15th, catching the most beautiful season in Beijing, we CRIPAC members visited a brother institution – the Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IB-CAS) as this year’s spring tour.
The botanical garden of IB-CAS is an open unit integrating leisure, visits, popular science study, parks, and scientific research. The garden has a quiet environment with rich plant varieties, which attracts plant enthusiasts from all over the Beijing city.
Thanks to our botanist guides, we all learned some great knowledge about the nomenclature of plant species and precious endangered plants. In the meantime, we enjoyed a leisure time embracing the mother nature with warm sun lights touching our skin and green colors filling our eyes. This tour relieved the office hour pressures and promoted communications within CRIPAC family.
