The 22nd International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR) was held on 24-28 August 2014 in Stockholm, Sweden. At this conference, Prof. Liang Wang was awarded IAPR Fellow for his contributions in the field of video understanding and pattern recognition. Beginning in 1994, the IAPR Fellow award has been issued once every two years, and each time the number of the elected fellows is not more than 0.25% total IAPR (International Association for Pattern Recognition) members in the world. A total of 15 people were elected in 2014 .
